The Underground Railroad (Then and Now)

This two-part program will explore the Underground Railroad for enslaved people, and new support systems for refugees in Western New York. Speakers include the descendant of freedom seeker Josiah Henson, Saladin Allah; Rwandan refugee and businessman Rubens Mukunzi; and a local refugee aid organization. Through conversation, we'll connect past and present struggles for freedom in our region.
