The Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center offers a self-guided journey through the villages of Niagara Falls and Suspension Bridge before the United States Civil War. Guided Freedom Conversation tours are offered Tuesday - Friday at 11:30 am and 2:00 pm and are included with your admission price.

Explore the recreated dining room of the famed Cataract House Hotel that served as mission central for an entirely black wait staff who doubled as secret agents on the Underground Railroad. Follow in the footsteps of Harriet Tubman as you cross the invisible line from slavery to freedom on the recreated Suspension Bridge.

Plan to spend 45 - 60 minutes exploring the true stories of courageous freedom seekers brought to life through scenic design and interactive media displays. Rediscover Niagara Falls' storied past and meet ordinary people who took extraordinary steps in the courageous pursuit of freedom.
